The Bayshore Shoreline route is one of the most enjoyed urban trails by residents and tourists alike.

Wrapped along the Coal Harbour waterfront, the shoreline walkway extends 600 meters around the Bayshore Hotel and Residences. The trail provides a comfortable and safe experience for users of all ages and mobilities. Owing to the heavy foot and bike traffic of the waterfront, several design features were utilized to make travel safe and comfortable. Bike and pedestrian traffic are separated by raised planting beds, seating areas, lighting and signage. Bike lanes are asphalt for a comfortable ride and pedestrian walkways are comprised of unit concrete pavers. Contrasting paving at the crossover points signals cyclists to slow down and stay observant of pedestrians allowing both riders and pedestrians to enjoy the space.
